| Description | The co-extruded trim seal profile typically consists of two main parts: The Trim (or Channel) Portion ( with internal metal carrier) is the base of the seal that grips onto an edge (e.g., a metal panel, a glass sheet, or frame), providing a strong, self-gripping hold. The sponge bulb (Top Bulb/Side Bulb) component is the flexible, hollow, or sponge-filled "bulb" that extends from the trim portion, designed to compress and fit to the surface to secure a seal against dust, water, air, and noise. ZYXrubber rubber trim seal is usually made from flexible, dense, or rigid rubber or plastic trim (such as EPDM, PVC, or TPE) with a sponge-rubber bulb to provide a secure seal for a wide variety of applications. The dimensions and shape of the trim channel can be customized to fit various edge thicknesses. Push-on edge trim rubber seals can all be customized, such as bulb sizes, shapes, locations, and wall thicknesses of the bulb to accommodate different gap sizes and compression requirements. |
